Home Hardware gives back to the community
Home Hardware threw open its doors for a grand opening event April 29. With items on sale, a mascotte and face-painting for fun, plus a barbecue fundraiser, the Galeries Aylmer store was packed. The Adirondack chairs on sale even sold out before the end of the day, with more being called in.
The barbecue was for the benefit of the Aylmer Scouts. Scouts general manager, Paul Bissonnette, attended this event in support of the 1st Aylmer Scouts. The proceeds will enable them to attend a Jamboree in Nova Scotia. The Jamborees are held every four years and are attended by Scouts across Canada. The 1st Aylmer Scouts will be sending eight members to the 10-day event.
