Another successful year at theannual Old-timers hockey tournament

Aylmer’s Sleeman Hockey League held its fourth annual 50+ Men’s Hockey Tournament from May 4 to 5, 2019, at the Frank Robinson Arena. Four teams made up entirely of former members of the old Aylmer 30Plus Hockey League competed in the event. 

The tournament, organized and managed completely by volunteers, was able to collect over 500 pounds of food and raise $2,700 in 2019, all of which was proudly donated to the Aylmer Food Centre. In four years, this small tournament has been able to donate over $9,200 and contribute more than 1,000 pounds of food to the Food Centre’s reserves.
