----- British Grand Prix comes back to Old Aylmer

On September 18, around 300 competitive cyclists from the region and beyond gathered in Old Aylmer to race in the first British Grand Prix – the event’s first edition since the start of the pandemic. Presented by the Tour de Gatineau and hosted by the British Hotel in partnership with the city of Gatineau, the event is organized by a committee led by the West of Quebec Wheelers. The race’s main organizer John Large says that hosting such a grand event brings great visibility to Aylmer, benefits local businesses, and helps the local cycling community.
