As the title suggests, this is a book about things that exist. The Quebecois authors are comic artists who have compiled a book of objects and how they came to be in a series of drawings. Readers will learn things such as where glasses came from, or how shoes and tin cans were invented.

One of the authors, Iris Boudreau-Jeanneau who goes by Iris in her works, is from the Pointe-Gatineau area in Gatineau. She graduated from Université du Québec en Outaouais and will be an honoured guest at the 2023 Salon du Livres Outaouais in February.
