Closets 4u win local merchants beach volleyball tourney in Aylmer

 

Under peaceful skies at the Parc des Cèdres beach in Aylmer and in a spirit of friendly competition, six businesses - Vitalia, Mexicana 129, British Café, British Hotel, Closets 4u and Café Mulligan - played beach volleyball at the third annual tournament among local merchants.  Teams were made up of staff, family and friends. The final was a close encounter between two undefeated teams, with Closets 4u defeating Vitalia with a score of 21-16. Gilles Pelletier, tournament organizer, thanked all the participants. He plans to encourage other merchants to join next summer and noted that $400 was raised to support a local charity, Centre CARMEN.
