Comment on the editorial of 21 September

 

I am certain others have weighed in on Ian Barrette's assertion in his editorial, "we're very fortunate that we haven't had a political assassination in Canada since the 1960s".   Well, that's close enough ...
    Let's remember and acknowledge the murder of Pierre Laporte  in October, 1970, and the attack on Parliament (assassination attempt) by Michael Zehaf-Bibeau in October, 2014. (What it is about October?)
    Thanks for his otherwise excellent editorials.
