Constance-Provost building construction progresses into February
Sophie Demers
The Constance-Provost building construction continues to progress through the cold winter months. Located at 115, Rue Principale, the future building will be home to the Lucy-Faris library, which was moved temporarily to the Galeries Aylmer until the construction is complete. Demolished in 2021, the original building, named Place-des-Pionniers, was unfit for the library.
The new building will have more space for books, allowing the library to expand its book collection. There will also be common areas, and spaces for community use. The library is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
