Elementary students take to the streets with chalk
Students from Aylmer elementary schools will participate in a street-chalking event hosted by the Aylmer Optimist Club. The children from cycle 2 (grades 3 and 4) will take to their schoolyards and nearby sidewalks to transform them into real works of art. They are invited to showcase their creativity and artistic talents
Schools that have accepted the Club’s invitation:
École des Tournesols – 170 students
École du Vieux Verger- 162 students
École du Village- 216 students
École des Cavaliers- 108 students
École Lord Aylmer- 216 students
École South Hull- 144 students
École Eardley- 80 students
Making a total of seven schools and 1,096 students
The activity will take place at each school on June 8 between 1-2:30 pm, according to the convenience of each school’s end of year schedule.
