The Service de police de la Ville de Gatineau (SPVG) responded to a call from a young woman in her twenties that got lost in the Boucher Forest. During the evening of November 30 at approximately 8 p.m., a young woman attempting to pass through the Boucher Forest to get to her destination placed a 911 call because she was lost in the forest and her phone was nearly out of battery.
Police were able to locate the woman within an hour by her listening for sirens and shouting to police so they could narrow in on her whereabouts. She was examined by paramedics on the scene, who deemed she did not require medical care.
