Lib residents help local volunteer organizations

Following the generous contribution of tenants living at Le Lib Aylmer, in collecting empty bottles and cans, a total of more than $ 4800 has been collected since January 2024.

This amount has been divided to four organisations that needs financial help.

On December 17, a total of $ 3000 was distributed to Maison Mathieu-Froment-Savoie, Palliative Home in Hull. This amount was matched by Le Lib Direction for a total of $ 6000.

To the Aylmer Foodbank, a cheque in the amount of $ 1000 was provided plus more than 20 boxes of food collected by the Tenant of Le Lib Aylmer.

An amount of $ 800 was provided to La Maison l’autre Chez-Soi, Residence for abused women in Aylmer area.

Last, but not forgotten, Meals on Wheels received 4 Turkeys.

Finally, a special Thanks to Gilles Blais, Gilles and his team, organize the pick of empty bottles and cans, and make sure that specific organizations receive the amount of the collected monies.
