----  National Assembly on Election Reform

 

It has been widely reported in the media (just before voting day) that Justin Trudeau has stated that he is open to "electoral reform"—but only if it's a non-proportional, winner-take-all ranked ballot.

Replacing one winner-take-all system with another will not improve Canada's democracy. We can't leave this to politicians. We need a National Citizens' Assembly on Electoral Reform.
