Polly Foran honoured by Aydelu peers

Polly Foran’s name is permanently going up on the wall at the Barn. She was surprised for February 13 with announcement of the Volunteer Hall being renamed after her. The group made this decision for her 40 years of volunteering at the Aydelu.  Her husband had passed away some years ago and the main hall was named after him; the Denis Foran Hall.

 

Some 240 people attended the dinner for the Club de l’âge d’or and was well represented by local dignitaries including Mayor Maxime Pedneaud-Jobin, MP Greg Fergus, Concillors Mike Duggan, Maxime Tremblay, Richard Begin and MNA André Fortin.
