----  Respect is an action! 

 

It is such a pleasure to see winter go and the warm weather and all the birds return! However, spring always reveals some undersides that are shocking. Like litter.  Several letters have complained of the garbage intentionally tossed out along the streets of Aylmer. But the litter is everywhere!  Even on the streets downtown, the parking lots of the shopping plazas, and city parks, our beach.  Look where the outdoor skating rinks once stood -- do these skaters and hockey players not appreciate this site made for their pleasure and fun? They are coated in vaping litter!  Is this how we repay or show our appreciation to the city, to Mother Earth, to our neighbours -- even to ourselves?  Come on people!  A trash bag in the car?  Is that too much planning?
