---- School at home?
I am totally confused. I read in the newspaper that parents cannot keep their children at home from school because of the pandemic, yet I hear constantly of parents who plan to home-school their children. As I understand it, home school requires a medical certificate that affirms each child is in danger due to a physical condition or illness, and that these doctor's certificates are not easy to obtain. They must be genuine.
I assume the education system does not want to be faced with having to inspect the curricula of each home-school. And the children all have to pass provincial examinations -- at home? If they must go to school for their exam, are these special children still not at risk of serious infection?
All this is so confusing, and I do not blame teachers or the Ministry of Education. I would not want their job today! This is people who send their social messages without fact-checking or without asking for clarification -- as I am doing here.
