It is with deep sadness that we learned of the death of Mrs. Constance Provost, who passed away January 9, surrounded by her loved ones. 

Behind the former mayor of Aylmer stood a warm and inspiring woman, who cared deeply about her community. Her passion was contagious; it made everyone around her want to get involved. Her support and encouragement played a major role in our decision to invest in and build in Aylmer. She was a sincere woman who, even after she left city hall, stayed in touch, and had a genuine interest in our projects and successes.

We would like to offer our most sincere condolences and sympathy to the family, loved ones and the people of Gatineau who had the chance to meet Mrs. Provost.
