---- Traffic on Chemin Vanier
I wonder who was the bright one who decided that there should be no right turn on a red light for traffic from Ch. Vanier South onto Principal, heading west, for cars heading towards centre town. This has caused major traffic congestion on Ch. Vanier backing traffic one quarter of the way to McConnell St -- and this at 4 pm Thursdays.
Cars are lined up waiting while traffic heading east on Principal has an advance green to turn onto Ch. Vanier, heading North. There is no way that traffic on Vanier which wants to turn right could interfere with the traffic from Principale turning onto Vanier, heading north .
This change has made things worse with no apparent necessity. All was working, not well, but much better than the present set up. This is traffic planning at it’s worse ... very incompetent.
