A gardening and cooking workshop at the Aylmer Food Center

The Aylmer Food Center recently hosted a team of licensed practical nurses from Western Québec Career Centre for a workshop combining gardening and cooking.
The activity allowed participants to discover the benefits of gardening and, at the same time, use fresh produce in the kitchen. In a friendly atmosphere, they were able to share their knowledge, make new culinary discoveries, and take part in a hands-on activity.
This initiative is part of the Aylmer Food Centre’s commitment to offering activities that bring people together around food, gardening, and community life.
Gardening and food preparation also served as meeting points, fostering interaction and building connections among participants. The workshop thus provided an opportunity for people to come together around a shared activity.
The Aylmer Food Center also acknowledged the collaboration of the Western Québec team in organizing this event.
