A walk down memory lane, a new section in the Bulletin
Jude Osmond
Charlie Trinque is a local history buff and the moderator of the Facebook page A walk down memory lane, Aylmer, and will share his Aylmer history with the Aylmer Bulletin. Trinque’s passion for history began at an early age, and he has spent most of his life collecting artifacts and information about the history of Aylmer, Deschenes, and South Hull.
Trinque is a longtime resident of the Lakeview Terrace sector and enjoys researching the history of abandoned buildings in the area. He has information, collectibles, old artifacts, pictures, papers, and memorabilia from every decade of Aylmer's history, starting in the 1840s. “I could open a museum with the things I have come across,’’ he stated.
Trinque will share stories in The Bulletin to inform readers about the area's past and how it has grown and expanded over the years.
