Aylmer man found dead in his pool

A 50-year-old man was found without life signs July 24. Gatineau Police have opened an investigation, but all signs point to the death as accidental. The man was found at the bottom of the pool. First responders arrived at the man’s home around 6:30 pm. He was pronounced dead at hospital after several efforts to revive him.
