Aylmer’s Jean-Michel Ménard wins Québec championship

Aylmer’s Jean-Michel Ménard curled his way past Team Fournier, 7-2, in the finals to win the Québec Men's Provincial Curling Championship, January 18, in Victoriaville. This is Ménard’s seventh victory at the Provincial Championships, and with this victory his squad, formed of Martin Crête, Éric Sylvain and Philippe Ménard, obtained their tickets to the Brier held in Calgary starting in late February. Team Ménard dominated the tournament, going undefeated with a 9-0 record.
On the women’s side, Team Mann, led by Lauren Mann, collected three points in the finals to edge Team Perron 10-6.
