With the anticipated public official opening approaching, Gatineau is working to prepare the interior of the Constance-Provost building. The city has added bookshelves, furniture, and equipment. The building will soon welcome the Lucy-Faris Library and the Aylmer Service Centre that have been operating in the Galeries Aylmer during the construction of the new building.
Action Gatineau has said that the public opening of the building would be on April 25, but there has not yet been an official announcement from the City of Gatineau.
