“Dogs rule, cats drool”

Long live Aylmer, long live local news: even the Dogs of Aylmer celebrate 2026

Max Tarkowski, on behalf of all the Dogs of Aylmer, wishes the family of Aylmer Bulletin readers a happy New Year. With 2025 coming to a close, and so much news gracing the pages of the local newspaper, Max is among those ready for what 2026 brings. “Woof,” Max explained to the Bulletin, “Fake news is for the birds.”

He went on to encourage readers to participate in their local newspaper by sending in news tips, shopping with the advertisers, contributing to the Dogs of Aylmer section and, according to Tarkowski, “Woof woof, we can all rest happily knowing that dogs are better than cats.”  Noting that, “Proof is in the absence of a Cats of Aylmer section.”
