---- Street name recalls Bulletin

 

I noticed in your report on three new street names for an Aylmer neighbourhood, you modestly did not use this headline, "New Street Named after Bulletin Editor"! One of the new streets is named after Diane Aldred, who was the editor of the Bulletin back when my family first moved to Aylmer.  She was an author, historian, photographer and a wonderful speaker. We heard her speak on local historical matters twice.  This is a well-deserved honour -- for the Bulletin, as well as for Ms Aldred.
