The 45th edition of the APICA golf tournament and spa day took place on Thursday, May 21, at the Château Cartier Hotel and Resort, with the Honourary President of the event, Olivier Desjardins of DLS Construction, and over 100 participants, including APICA members and partners.
The golf portion of the tournament started at 11 am, with many members and partners taking their best swings in hopes of winning. Hors-Bord Lafontaine, a boat dealer in Gracefield, had a special promotion: any golfer who hit a hole-in-one got a new boat, just in time for summer.
The event had multiple activities throughout the day, in addition to golf, hosted by different partners, including an egg roll tasting with Monsieur Eggrolls, a visit from the Pêle-Mêle Food Truck, and many more.
After the tournament, the golfers and partners were treated to a cocktail and dinner, during which partners could purchase raffle tickets for 23 different prizes, including a new lawnmower, a barbotine machine, a gift basket from Chocolats Favoris, and many more. $30,000 in prizes were given away at the event.
